VCU McNair Scholars Advisory Board

The McNair Advisory Board (MAB) consists of a cross-section of VCU faculty, staff, and administrators. Members provide advisement on project development and activities, as well as serve as program advocates. The advisory board gives advice to the Program Coordinator and staff on relevant matters, internal and external to the university that may impact the program. The McNair Advisory Board consists of a subcommittee based on the needs of the program. Subcommittees meet monthly while the entire council meets three times a year. As a result of their engagement, members of VCU MAB:

  • Contribute to the success of the VCU McNair Scholars Program
  • Make a positive impact on the lives of our scholars
  • Serve the greater VCU community
  • Expand their professional network
